Wash, deep-condition, and detangle your hair thoroughly 24–48 hours before your appointment. Avoid heavy oils or products that leave residue. Bring reference photos and discuss desired size and parting so we can match your vision and advise on preparation.
Maintain twists with nightly satin wrap or bonnet, moisturize scalp weekly, and use a light oil or leave-in spray to prevent dryness. Cleanse scalp every 2–3 weeks with diluted shampoo or dry shampoo to preserve the style and scalp health.
When installed with appropriate tension and professional technique, two-strand twists should not cause traction alopecia. We monitor tension, recommend thicker parts near edges, and suggest protective care. Communicate any discomfort immediately so we can adjust.
