What the service involves
Senegalese Medium waist-length twists here are created by sectioning your natural hair and incorporating synthetic extension hair to build smooth, rope-like twists that reach the waist. The stylist works steadily to establish consistent thickness; this service is listed at $400 and typically occupies one full appointment block (480 MINUTES), so plan a full-day booking.
To complete waist-length medium twists you or the stylist will need two packs of 42-inch Expression hair plus two packs of 52-inch Expression hair. If you don't bring hair, I sell packs at $5 each. Note that an extra $50 fee may apply if your natural hair is very short or needs additional preparation. The $50 deposit is non-refundable.
Appointment and payment details
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment; appointments will not be confirmed without it and may be canceled if the deposit is not received. The remaining balance for the $400 service must be paid in cash at the appointment. This policy helps manage time and bookings for evening and weekend clients, including many Fort Liberty commuters.
Please arrive on time and prepared; bringing the required hair saves setup time and avoids extra charges. If you prefer, purchase hair from me for $5 per pack before or at check-in. Because appointments run 480 MINUTES, building in commute time from West Fayetteville, Hope Mills, or nearby areas like Spring Lake makes the visit smoother.
Care, timing, and local context
Aftercare for Senegalese twists involves keeping the scalp clean and avoiding heavy manipulation for the first days; expect some settling as the twists bed in. Fayetteville's humid subtropical climate can affect how twists feel—humid summers may increase frizz, so schedule maintenance and touch-ups accordingly. The stylist will advise on gentle cleansing and nighttime protection to extend wear.
The service takes significant time—480 MINUTES—so plan accordingly with meals, childcare, or errands nearby. Our West Fayetteville / Cliffdale location sits near Murchison Road and Skibo Road retail corridors, making it easy to combine a long appointment with shopping at Cross Creek Mall or a visit to the Airborne & Special Operations Museum. Expect a focused, steady process.
