I have been wearing wigs for 27 years, so showing my actual hair to anyone was a big deal for me. From the very first conversation, Alice made me feel completely at ease. She listened, was sweet and understanding, and helped me think through my options with my upcoming surgery in mind — including finding a style that wouldn’t be too heavy. She had the perfect suggestion.

After our consultation I found a picture of the style we discussed, booked my appointment, and paid my deposit. I was still a little nervous, but she sent a message the morning of to confirm, and the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Her setup is simple — two comfortable salon chairs, a TV, and a bathroom — but that simplicity is exactly what makes it special. It’s just you and her. No one walking through while you’re in the chair, no one watching you remove your scarf, hat, or wig, no side-eyes. That’s the VIP feeling — her complete, undivided attention in a private, comfortable space.

She did 16-inch kinky twists with human hair. She started promptly, worked quickly, and was incredibly gentle the entire time — checking in regularly to make sure she wasn’t braiding too tight. She’s polite and professional without being stiff. She holds great conversation, but if that’s not your thing, she has a TV. She even accommodated a smoke break I asked for mid-appointment without any issue.
