Get answers to common questions about Install.

Appointment length varies by hair length, density, and chosen style; most installs take between two to six hours. We recommend allowing extra time for consultation, hair preparation, and finishing touches to ensure precise, long-lasting results.

When performed by our experienced stylists using gentle, tension-free techniques, installs should not damage your natural hair or scalp. Proper preparation, regular maintenance, and avoiding excessive tension reduce risk; discuss hair condition during consultation to tailor the safest approach.

Longevity depends on hair growth, maintenance, and activity level. With proper care and periodic tightening, loc extensions from our installs typically last six to twelve months before a refresh or re-install is recommended.

We advise waiting 24 to 48 hours before washing to allow the install to settle. Use gentle, sulfate-free cleansers and dilute shampoo, carefully massaging the scalp and thoroughly rinsing to prevent buildup and preserve the integrity of the extensions.

Light styling is fine immediately, but avoid tight, high-tension styles for the first few weeks. Use protective methods and low-heat tools; consult your stylist for recommended styles that protect both your natural hair and the extensions.

Maintain installs by cleansing the scalp regularly with diluted shampoo, moisturizing locs with light, water-based products, sleeping with a satin scarf, avoiding heavy oils, and scheduling routine maintenance appointments to tighten and address any issues.
