Hi Alice,
I just wanted to send you a huge thanks for doing an amazing job on my daughter’s hair. She is very selective when it comes to people and she raved so highly about your customer service…how so friendly your are…. how you talked to her and made her feel so comfortable because you were so friendly and nice.
She and I wished we had found you earlier this year when her hair braider of 7 years left. We tried several different stylist and she never raved so much about any of them like she has about you.
Although she is 18, I’m very particular about her.
Thank you for being so wonderful!!! You deserve 10 ⭐️ stars!!!😊...more

I have been wearing wigs for 27 years, so showing my actual hair to anyone was a big deal for me. From the very first conversation, Alice made me feel completely at ease. She listened, was sweet and understanding, and helped me think through my options with my upcoming surgery in mind — including finding a style that wouldn’t be too heavy. She had the perfect suggestion.

After our consultation I found a picture of the style we discussed, booked my appointment, and paid my deposit. I was still a little nervous, but she sent a message the morning of to confirm, and the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Her setup is simple — two comfortable salon chairs, a TV, and a bathroom — but that simplicity is exactly what makes it special. It’s just you and her. No one walking through while you’re in the chair, no one watching you remove your scarf, hat, or wig, no side-eyes. That’s the VIP feeling — her complete, undivided attention in a private, comfortable space.

She did 16-inch kinky twists with human hair. She started promptly, worked quickly, and was incredibly gentle the entire time — checking in regularly to make sure she wasn’t braiding too tight. She’s polite and professional without being stiff. She holds great conversation, but if that’s not your thing, she has a TV. She even accommodated a smoke break I asked for mid-appointment without any issue.

Her work is unmatched. I love my kinky twists. Once I’m fully healed from surgery, I will absolutely be back, and I’m telling everyone I know. Book her. You will not regret it....more

Alice my friend as I call her.A braider and a God fearing lady. OMG where do I even start from. Alice has been doing my hair since 2012. Back then she use to work in a shop. One thing I like about Alice braids is, she don’t use a lot of Jam on ur hair but her braids still looks great unlike all these new Brader’s whom can’t do your hair without putting a container of jam on ur scalp. For a moment I thought she no longer braids hair or she had moved because I went to the salon and was told she longer work there but was never told she had opened her own place. Am so happy I found her. One thing about skills is that some people are born with it while some learn it. Alice was born with it. Girl this lady can’t braids.i have done almost all the different styles you can think of and she has never failed me. I can write all day pages upon pages & still will not finish writing about Alice and her braids.Just go to her & thank me later. She is the best....more

I Can't say enough about Ms. Alice and her shop. She was very polite, her shop was clean, maintained, well organized. She even let me pull out my own edges (which are now starting to grown back in). This was my second booking with her and we were able to talk through different styles that I was considering and came up with a plan. She's done my braids before and I was telling her how after my braids had grown out they felt so heavy (keeping in mind i had them in for 8 weeks, I workout, i sweat in my head and I am tender headed). And when I say she worked some magic!!!! I was sooooooo happy and impressed with revisions she made based on the conversations we had. Me personnaly I like a nice clean part so there's no weird looking sections and she was able to deliver. Prior to coming back to North Carolina I had the same braider for almost 9 year... I had considered going back up North to get hair braided again, but decided to try a couple of differnt places here. She delivered the first and second sessions so I think I've found my braider until the next move. 10/10 highly recommend booking with her (and she's funny 😁) Yall stay blessed and I hope this review answers any questions you may have....more

It’s been a long time since I’ve done box braids, but Ms. Alice made the whole process so relaxing. She would periodically ask me if her braiding was too tight, and it wasn’t. Her shop is clean and quaint. She is very professional and the best braiding stylist I’ve ever had in N.C. Also, her prices are reasonable and she will move mountains to give you the style you want. If you doubt this review, feel free to email me.
You’re the BEST Ms. Alice!!!!!!...more

I did have my hair braided at this shop. Alice was patient being that I had to take a few calls from my son. She is the best braider that you will get in this area that I have seen thus far. I am just not a fan of the lighter methodology that has to be tossed. Book an appointment you will not be disappointed.....Enjoy...more

I am beyond satisfied with my hair....it's exactly what I asked for and more. To start, Alice is extremely sweet and professional the entire time. It only took her 5 hrs total to do my small/medium individual braids, which is the same amount of time it would have taken two people working on one head. She also gives you insight on how to care for your hair in its natural state. Lastly, her prices are beyond affordable and she will be the only person I go to for my hair maintenance...more
