When your retwist comes out well and you’re satisfied with the results, the next 48 hours are what keep it looking that way. Our number one rule is simple: don’t wash, soak, or sweat it out for at least 48 hours so the new parts and twists can set. Your first 24 to 48 hours: keep the roots set, neat, and calm
